Great comparative saw as a consequence beat price.
This was my first miter/chop saw plus i looked around alot before buying it. I compared dewalt 723, craftsman plus link of other models from home depot.
Dewalt was twice as expensive ($209) plus craftsmans from sears was pretty darn cheap plus althoug you could buy a sliding compound miter for less that $200, the capability wasn’t competent. There were many complaints about cheap synthetic parts plus even cheaper angle/cut capability. Other ryobi plus makita were similar over hitachi plus dewalt, except werent’ that popular plus couldn’t find many reviews.
After all this analysis plus talking over link of contractors, they suggested that Hitachi C10FCE2 is equally competent plus i ended up buying one from amazon.
I arrived inside 2 days (with free shipping) plus since the blades are new you could you utilization it over cut moulding right out of the box. But may be when you cut 2×4s for few months, you might demand a newer blade with more teeths. The building of the saw itself is strong plus it comes with few accessories.
Dust bag isn’t exactly the same useful as it captures sole part of the dust, except that’s true with all other brands as well. I haven’t tried mounting it on a stand, except have heard staff complain about incompatibility with dewalt miter stand.
Used it link of time for miter plus compound miter, plus all the angles were perfect with fine cuts.
